What does it cost to start?
The freezer is loaned to you at no cost. All you pay for is the opening order of popsicles, invoiced like any other purchase. No deposit, no joining fee.
Is the freezer loaned or do I have to buy it?
It is loaned, with no minimum spend. We deliver it branded and ready to sell. One condition: it is exclusively for Don Paletero popsicles.
Who pays for the freezer’s electricity?
The power is on the shop.
Do I buy the popsicles or are they on consignment?
It depends on your business. Message us and we’ll work out what suits you best.
What if they don’t sell?
You can ask us to collect the freezer whenever you like. No penalties, no minimum term, no complications.
How often do you restock?
We restock to order, whenever you need it, so you never run out.
How much do I make per popsicle?
You keep your margin on every popsicle you sell. The exact figure depends on your volume, so we go through it on WhatsApp — we would rather give you real numbers than promises.
How much space do I need?
Roughly one square meter. The freezer is about 1.10 m wide × 0.65 m deep × 0.90 m tall, with two sliding glass lids on top, and plugs into a standard 110 V outlet. Dimensions vary slightly by model.
Which provinces do you reach?
We currently reach Panamá, Panamá Oeste, Colón, Coclé, Herrera and Los Santos.
Can I stock other popsicle brands?
Yes, but not inside the Don Paletero freezer. That space is for our popsicles only.
Do I need any permits?
Don Paletero holds the production, distribution and sales permits. Each shop is responsible for its own operating licence.
